Flip flops or heels. Wing tips or Western wear. Wheels, walkers, or service dogs. All y'all 'r welcome, and the room is set up to make sure of it.
TLC Austin works to make the dining room, the patio, and the website usable for every guest who shows up. We meet ADA standards as the floor, not the ceiling, and we keep looking for places to do better.
We aim to meet or exceed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is not a checklist you finish, so we keep working at it.
We build the site to work with assistive technology, including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice commands. Specifically:
We use OpenTable for reservations, Toast for online orders, and Tripleseat for events. Their accessibility is theirs, not ours, but we picked partners who take it seriously. If you hit a wall on one of those platforms, call us and we'll help you finish the task by phone.
Accessibility is ongoing. We review the building, the site, and our service standards on a regular basis, train the team, and listen when guests tell us we missed something.
If something on this site or in our restaurant is hard to use, tell us. We will work to fix it.
